The Casablanca ceiling fan was so easy to install compared to this one which took several days. (Directions could be clearer and we had to buy longer screws.) Then, the controls would not work correctly. We have same fan but smaller downstairs. The manufacturer told us to shut the fan off downstairs at the electical box. We got it to work after three weeks of trying all kinds of stuff. Apparently having two Kichler wireless controls in the same house creates problems. Bottom line, no one in our family wants to install another one. We will hire it out. It is gorgeous when it works right.

This can be only turned on/off on one switch because of the remote control. We're used to having 2 places to turn the light on/off and cannot do that now.
