I love the blue hue of the light. It is easy on the eyes. You can direct the light exactly where you need it. I use it on a bookcase headboard and I can direct it so I can read and it does not disturb my husband. Good quality and nice heavy weight. No cons.

Intent was to use this as lamp on desk. Very stylish design, but illumination is limited. Workmanship on product is not good. Places missed on black chrome finish. Visible blemishes on chrome under clear block. Will keep it as it's more trouble than its worth to return for the $100. Overall disappointed in quality

I use this on my desk. There's no lamp shade to block off papers I have tacked on the wall in back of it. Lamp is beautiful and works fine. I have been looking for this kind of a lamp for ages - I work on a small desk with an adjoining computer table. Recommend it highly!
