I love this lamp. I have been looking for quite some time for strictly chrome dome lamps. I have a smaller one I bought in the 70's and I didn't realize how hard they are to come by now. Lampsplus was the only place I was satisfied with. Thank goodness for George Kovac's designs. I wish Lamps plus had a store close to us.

Great lamp. It's tall enough to arch over traffic path in living room without hitting your head on it. And for some reason, every man who's been into my living room comments on this lamp.

The lamp is very stylish and the polished chrome is very sturdy and durable. The only drawback to see is that the base tilts on carpet. An even heavier base would be better, although the current base is REALLY heavy.

This is a very nice large lamp. It has one 250 watt bulb, so it's very bright. It has a nice floor dimmer switch and a long cord. The polished chrome finish is very mod and stylish. It comes in 3 boxes, one of which is very large, so bring a SUV, truck, or van to pick it up. Also bring someone who is strong, because the marble base is HEAVY. My only gripe is that the bulb makes noise when it's dimmed. It could be the bulb? I'm not sure. When it's turned up to max, it doesn't buzz.
