LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this floor lamp! It is technically industrial in style. However, I put it in a dark corner of a small office that has no overhead light. The furniture is transitional...distressed black paint. The desk lamp is a swing arm lamp with a cream shade. This lamp fits in perfectly! So id say it fits with transitional or eclectic decor. it is very stable. No worries about it tipping over. Also it is very cool looking & was easy to assemble. Nice and bright. I live in a small town, so my only concern is the specialized bulbs. I will have to order them over the Internet.
