I would rate everything as excellent only no assembly instructions...so here's how to assemble the chair (the ottoman comes assembled) 1. Lay out all the bolts by size 2. Put the lock washer on each bolt 3. Put the flat washer on each bolt (the flat washer should end up next to the wood) NOTE- the two short bolts do not need a flat washer. 4.turn the seat bottom fabric side down 5. Put the front legs on using four of the mid-size bolts. Finger tighten each bolt BEFORE using the tool provided. Tighten each blot a little at a time until each is snug NOT tight. 6. Lay the chair back side down and position the seat with the legs on the two wooden pegs on the back. Caution- do not rock the seat on the pegs or you will break them! 7. Use two shortest bolts with flat washers to secure seat to back. Tighten as described in step 5. 8. Using the four longest bolts secure the seat to the back legs. Tighten as described in step 5. 9. Turn the chair up right on it's legs. 10. Attach the arm to the back sing the two bolts without the flat washers. Leave them a little loose while you do step 11. 11. Use the two remaining bolts to attach the arm to the seat. Now tighten all the arm bolts as you have ben doing to this point. Wha-La! Your beautiful chair is done. Now for a little personal advise. In a couple of days after the wood in the chair has acclimated to it's new environment you may find that each bolt could be slightly tightened.
