I have three of these lamps. One on the front porch, one by the back door and one by the pool. They are very pretty, but the one by the pool does not give off enough light.

My home is 105 years old and I was in a very deep renovation project, including the front porch. I wanted a porch light that would complement my century home but also add a contemporary flare. This lamp did the trick. It was easy to install, has worked great and I've received many many complements.

The glass design makes for internal light reflection, which increases lumens at the bottom. The light output seems much greater than from the fixtures they replaced, with the same 8W CFL bulb. I did not like similar fixtures that use 13W or 26W dedicated fluorescent tubes because the type of applicable bulb (2 & 4-pin) cannot be altered. I relocated my house number below one of the fixtures so that it is now illuminated at night.
(I have 2, one each side of garage door).
The only negative: I would like to have seen a finial or other small decorative device to complete the top pyramid.
