This artistic lamp is well designed with some mass to the base keeping it from being top heavy. It is stable, attractive, and fits well with our family room's arts and crafts decor. I use two 60 watt light bulbs which provide plenty of light and which last longer than a hefty three-way 150 watt bulb as in some lamps.
