We just moved into a new home. Our existing light fixture in the dining room was probably 30 yrs old, as old as our house! It was not us at all! I wanted a chandelier with lots of crystals and sparkles; my boyfriend wanted no sparkles. After searching online and multiple stores, I was pleased to stumble upon this fixture because it is different than all the other light fixtures I had seen. You know, the type with some kind of glass bulb. We both LOVE it!! It is modern and complements or furniture and our style. We have come to realize that most of our light fixtures are all square/rectangular in shape--a very mordern feel! We think it is perfect!! And we have gotten so many compliments too!

We purchased the light for our dining area. Fits well with a standard table size. Liked the lamp because it was modern in design and shape but classic with the wood detailing and linen shades. Goes well with our dark wood floors. I disliked a lot of drum shades out there because they had the plastic light diffuser at the base of the shade; looks cheap. This light doesn't have diffusers and looks much better because of it. It creates a lot of light - which we wanted. Instal was fine, just the same as any light fixture.

Elegant, contemporary, brushed nickel fixture. The addition of the dark wood grid hints at early 70's kitsch. Beautiful fixture for a dining room or a room with high-ceilings. It's a bit hard to hang by yourself...get a friend to help.
