In updating our look I loved the unique style of this lamp but was afraid it was a little too contemporary for my room. I just kept coming back to it and decided I had to have it. I get more compliments on this lamp than I can count and it fit perfectly with my transitional look. I use it for ambience rather than reading or task lighting as it sits lower than most lamps. I don't want bright light emanating below eye level. It's just perfect for what I wanted in a lamp.

Great lamps. Packaged well in styrofoam, assembly was a snap and they work perfectly. The lamp will be TOO bright if you use even 45 watt bulbs since it has 3 balasts in each lamp. Shop around for the light bulbs that will work, I was happy with 45w and I recommend that or lower.
