modern sleek and soft at the same time. I had dimmer to the switch and it makes it very oft when needed. The assembly was very easy. Best to put the globes after the main base is attached to the ceiling; just follow the pattern provided and put the smallest on first, followed by the medium and the large ones last. Great purchase. would definitely recommend it to a friend.
Love the light which was installed on a slope ceiling in our kitchen. Get compliments every time someone new comes over!! Was difficult to put glass pieces over light bulbs and broke one as very fragile but the good thing is it included extra so we were fine! Was difficult to hang getting hands behind to screw in ceiling but maybe because we placed on sloped ceiling. End result once hung.... Love it!! Unique!!
Not too bright for kitchen at all. The offset design helped in my kitchen because the electrical box was closer to the counter and not the overall kitchen so the longer end reached into the center of the kitchen. Assembled easily from box, no adjustments needed.Images/Videos shared by: leezul
This light was different and great looking. Really added to the Kitchen remodel
Great kitchen light. Brighter than expected and adds
As other reviewers mentioned you want to install it before you attach the bulbs and orbs. However this approach turns against you when the fixture is defective. The main metal bars weren't molded properly for me and some of the medium and large orbs couldn't be mounted due to lacks of proper spacing. So I would recommend to put of the orbs on for testing and remove them before proceeding with attaching the fixture to the ceiling. The replacement fixture wasn't perfect either, however it was possible to very slightly bend a couple of the secondary bars for the small orbs (no light inside) for tuning. Also note that, if you are worried it might be too bright, low voltage dimmers are up to $100 and require a neutral wire which is a concern in older houses.Images/Videos shared by: Franck M.
I am an interior designer. I placed this light fixture in my client's walk-in closet. It provides lots of light across a wide section and looks cool. Please note that not all of the balls have bulbs inside.
I replaced an old brass builder grade chandelier in my living room with this light fixture, and it is absolutely beautiful. I get many compliments on it...even the electrician who installed it loved it. It was easy for him to install; however, putting the globes over the light bulbs is a bit tricky. They are a tight fit, and you do need the diagram to figure out where to place them. Other than that, it took very little time for him to install it. A dimmer is a must as it is bright. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. It is unique and makes a statement. Even my husband who has zero decorating sense loves it. Delivery was on time and the packaging was excellent.
We used this on a sloped ceiling in a bedroom and it still looks great! Very beautiful design.
perfect for a pop of style in my 900 sq ft home.
Great light, used it to replace a nasty old fluorescent fixture in the kitchen. It is incredibly bright and perfect for lighting the whole kitchen with a warm, diffused glow. If installed anywhere else, you should use a dimmer, because it is REALLY bright. Only downside was ours did not come with bulbs or instructions, had to purchase $75 worth of bulbs from Home Depot and then guess on how the lilypads were supposed to be arranged from photos online. Still like it, but not looking forward to replacing the bulbs in the future.
We installed this in the kitchen. The luminosity is good for a kitche; for a bedroom or dining room, you might want to install a dimmer. The fixture is not hard to install. Just make sure you install it before you attach the bulbs and diffusers. It is attractive and funky--we like it. The one downside that I have noticed is that the white corded wires inside the canister that attaches to the ceiling show through the small holes in the canister. Overall, though, the fixture seems well-built and it definitely attracts attention.
Looks great in new kitchen. Soft but effective lighting. My electrician son, installed it in about 20 min. But didn't seem really all that hard. Nice to have extra bulbs and parts included in purchase.
We have this light over our dining room table and it is nice that the base is off center as our outlet is not right above the table so the longer part can make it look more centered over the table. The problem with the light is that the bulbs are always going off and you have to go up and fiddle with the bulb cover for each one to get it to come back on. Right now 4 are out and I just adjusted some others a week ago. I am actually probably going to put it in a different room as I changed my mind for chrome finish in the dining room. It does give off a lot of light for the area. It was a bit tricky to get all those bulbs attached but we haven't broken any yet with fiddling around with them when the light goes out. Would only recommend if you really love the style.
I put this in the entry of my condo - thinking it would be great - I way underestimated the impact it had - it is truly awesome!
