Softtech DL90 LED Lamp

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought the DL Softech DL90 Natural Light LED Desk Lamp because I wanted an upgrade from a Koncept Zbar desk lamp that was stylish and great accent piece, but not very bright for a desk lamp. On the pro-side, I like the sleek look and the docks for ipod are cool beans. However the biggest draw was that I saw that the DL90 had advertised as 1250 Lumens (the Zbar is 240 Lumens) and thought wow 5 times brighter! DL90 is NOT 1250 Lumens they probably got it confused with Lux, a totally different measurement, because on Softech's website it says that the highest brightness is 1100 Lux. To compare, the Softech DL-90 is probably the same brightness, maybe a little more, than Koncept Z-bar. I like the style, but being just slightly brighter than the my old LED desk lamp isn't much of an upgrade for me.
