I placed this close to the ceiling chandelier in my hallway. The area is small and the colors really show up nicely as well as providing great illumination. I have a small craftsman bungalow, so it fits the age and style of the house. My husband and son assembled and installed it in only a few minutes. This fixture was also on sale, which made it a great buy!

hardware for mounting fixture was not accompanied by a DETAILED set of instructions, the instructions (a drawing) did not exactly match the hardware provided, and the hardware had to modified (via addition of spacers, that we rigged) before we could get the fixture to mount flush with the ceiling.[...]

Love this light! The glass is much prettier than it appears on the website. The amount of light it puts out was a bit of a letdown but we should have anticipated that with art glass. Looks wonderful in the hall of our craftsman style home.

We have the walnut mission lamp (2) and this ceiling light ties our craftsman cottage together in a cohesive/cooordinated way. It totally changed the hallway which had a basic white bowl light. The detail, craftsmanship and ambience it creates is wonderful. Everyone notices it immediately and comments on it. We received the fixture much earlier than promised and the price was excellent too!
