Good small fan - mediocre quality

We had an electrician install this in a small room at the same time they installed a larger Emerson ECO fan in another room. One thing I really liked about it was that it was one of the few smaller fans that you could get with CFL bulbs. No point putting in a fan to save energy and then have an inefficient 100W halogen bulb built-in - especially if you had a CFL in that location before. On the negative side, this fan had a really bad wobble when it was first turned on. The electrician who installs a lot of fans said it was not the worst he had seen, but we all agreed it was pretty bad - almost unusable. My wife and I spent 30 minutes or more balancing the fan and got it almost wobble-free. We are pretty satisfied with it now. But had we not felt comfortable balancing it, or not been able to balance it, I would give this a 1-star rating. So I would assume that the quality is quite variable on this model, as other people seem to have received wobble-free fans. So if you purchase it, just be prepared to balance the fan and/or return it. Otherwise, we are now quite happy with it. (Without the wobble issue would have given it 4-stars).

we have a galley style kitchen that we recently remodeled and wanted a ceiling fan to add circulation but with cabinet doors and narrow kitchen space we tried this fan and it is perfect. You cannot even tell its on its so quiet.
