I looked at a lot of black fans and this is the one we went with because of looks, fan blade size and price. I installed this fan in a larger bedroom but looks great, not too small. This fan is a little difficult to install as it is heavy, around 35lbs. and the blades were also hard to install when the fan is up, might be better to install the blades while the fan is down. Because of the moving weight be sure you have a metal fan box in the ceiling that can handle it. Also be aware that if you hook the hot leads wrong it will trip the breaker, ask me how I know.
