Wanted a fan that would fit a small bedroom and be mounted close to the ceiling. This fan is great. It is made sturdy, does not make any noise, and looks expensive.

Our office receives so much sunlight that it has always been uncomfortably hot in the summer. After installing this fan, we are able to adjust the speed to remain comfortable. We love it and only regret we didn't purchase it sooner!

We needed a low profile fan for a small guest bedroom (over a bed), and this one was on sale and looked nice. Installation was harder than expected (according to my father-in-law, who installed it one day in his guest bedroom while I was at work), but now that it's on, it's great. It's super quiet, looks great, and is perfect for moving air around the small bedrooom.
Agree with the comments that it's a much darker shade than it appears in the pictures. I'd describe it as "dark brown" instead of "bronze"...

This replaced an older, rather tacky looking ceiling fan and lamp combo in a fairly small bedroom. We were looking for something quiet, effective, and tasteful, and this ceiling fan and light fit the bill perfectly. If you're looking for something quiet and nicely understated, then this is a good choice.

My electrician installed the fan in the master bedroom yesterday and it was used last night - love it. It is whisper quiet. On high speed, it moves so fast that you cannot see the blades. There is a very faint whirring that is actually soothing. The design is clean and beautiful - the hugger base is ideal for relatively low ceilings - the alabaster shade casts a clear, full light on the room - and it comes with the required light bulbs. My electrician was so impressed that he asked me where I got it.

We have deliberately opted for ceiling fans and open windows over air conditioning, and therefore have several (6) ceiling fans in our home. These range from "high end" fans to "big box" store brands. we have learned that there is no substitute for a good quality fan. Saving money by purchasing a cheap fan results in noise, wobble, and eventual replacement. This fan ranks with the more expensive quality fans, but did not cost an arm and a leg. This particular fan was added to our kitchen during our complete tear out remodel last year. It fits well and unobtrusively with the decor, and when it is noticed it gets great compliments. We removed the pull chains in favor of the wall mounted four speed / dimming control. I wish the manufacturer provided and alternate part without the holes provided for the chains. (Not a big deal since the holes are small, but it would be a nice touch). Finally, this uses 2 candelabra bulbs rather than standard bulbs, therefore somewhat limiting maximum light output and making it impossible to use compact fluorescent bulbs. Given the design, this is a fair trade-off for the low profile look we were seeking and achieved. Overall, we are VERY satisfied with the fan and Lamps Plus.

As advertised, this fan "hugs" the ceiling so it's not intrusive when you have standard height ceilings. It's perfect for a smaller space such as a bedroom and coordinates well with either traditional or more contemporary decor. We had this professionally installed because an electrician was already working elsewhere in the house. Price/value ratio with this fan is excellent.

Great for air circulation. We put it in our bedroom. Small enough that it doesn't overpower the room. Very quiet. No wobble. Style works well with a mission decor. My only complaint is that I was hoping it was more the copper colour that the picture shows. It is a very dark bronze, a chocolate colour. So with the very white shade, it is a brown and white look, instead of bronze and white. [...] But nobody beats the selection of Lamps Plus!

Couldn't find what we wanted at the big box stores, so we went online and found this model. Installed two of these in bedrooms with low ceilings. They're perfect! Very attractive, move air extremely well, quiet. I'm no handyman, but with attention to the instructions they were relatively easy to install. The second one went much quicker. :-)

Other reviews thought that the color was too dark but the color really works in my house. It is a dark brown bronze that compliments my Arts & Crafts House and the overall looks is great. We installed it in the fall so haven't used it much yet, but it seems to do all that it is supposed to do
