Functionally, the ceiling fan works very well. Even the remote is responsive, which is what I'm typically concerned about with these new wireless remotes (we have one in our house that is impossible to turn off and on most of the time, and it's irritating). However, when assembling the fan/light, the metal plates that encircle the lamp and the where the blades attach were not flush all the way around. There was no way to correct that during installation either. So, the option would have been to drive all the way back to the store to exchange it (after it had already been assembled), so since it was just for our office, we left it "as is." It's just mildly noticeable if you look really close.

I bought this fan to replace an older one I had upstairs in the hall on a sloped ceiling. Unfortunately, this fan didn't come with a sloped ceiling canopy kit nor was one available for it. So, I had to buy one from another brand and adapt it for this fan. That worked OK, but I wish I could have used the upper canopy that came with the fan since it's a lot more attractive.

I have 2 of these fans, 1 for my master bedroom that I installed 1 1/2 years ago. And 1 I just installed last week for my guest bedroom. I liked the first one so much and it seems to be holding up and operating well. The light is nice a bright and has a dimmer on the remote.

It is for my 14-year old son. He likes the silver steel materials. It is an addition to the A/C. It is good for a bedroom, only 42 inches. The light is nice. The remote control, however, is not working. The battery was used? We are going to replace the battery to see what happens. I had a handy man install it.

I like this fan, but at lower speeds the noise of the motor can get irritating. I do have hearing that is sensitive to that range, and if there is ANY other noise around (music, people, tv) you can't hear it. At night, in the bedroom, I can hear it.
