What a great looking contemporary fan. It is in my sons' room and it is very quiet and sturdy, having been installed by my electrician. The value can't be beat!

My favorite thing about the Casa Vieja is that it has a remote control and the light dims. I use the light dimmer almost everyday. It circulates air pretty well in my bedroom but I wouldn't suggest it for larger rooms.

great little fan except for no reverse. Actually performs better that the Casablanca I installed at the same time in a different room.Casablanca cost 3xs as much and doesn't perform as well.....

It is great in my son's room - looks great! works great! even the lowest speed is fast enough. The only drawback was I think the 75W bulb is too smnall for any room, and since this becomes the controller due to the remote, I needed to up it to 100W and hope nothing bad will happen.

A bit time consuming to put together, but once assembled it is great. Note that the "stainless steel" on the blades is really just silver paint, but since it's at ceiling level you don't notice it. Controls are actually very easy to use: 1 button for light on/off, or hold it to dim. Fan has 4 buttons: high, med, low, and off. Couldn't be simpler. Reverse function is at the top of the fan, not on controller. Suggest mounting the controller holder to a blank switch plate (remove original wall switch and make constant on if circuit is switched). Nice modern light and fan.

I think this is the BEST fan for matching with stainless in either kitchen or any room with any of your sconces in stainless....even for huge bathrooms. However, controls are tricky.
It can blow off your hat or re-arrange hairdo each time you try to put on the light.
I'd only receommend it with telling what is good and not great about it.
Great for the price, WITH other lighting in same room.
