This 44" Encore™ hugger-style ceiling fan from Possini Euro Design features a trim and compact design, making it ideal for use in smaller rooms. This remote control model has a bronze finished motor, matching blades and an integrated white frosted glass light kit. Takes three 40 watt bulbs (included).

After reading all the reviews, I choose this one and it was definitely the right choice! We put it up above our staircase in the hallway and it looks beautiful. Its very quiet. I love the remote with all the choices on it. We are going to buy another one for the living room. Gives off probably the most light of fans that have a cover. Fast delivery!

I purchased the smaller fan blade size for the kitchen area as it was not as large as the other rooms. This fan works exceptionally well in the kitchen, circulating the air to keep the kitchen cooler.

What a FANTASTIC fan! What a POWERHOUSE! Circulation is felt immediately and it's SO quiet. As for looks - it's modern, but also in the brown color - is also a tad vintage. My only complaint is it's really not bright enough. Unfortunately our house has NO lighting so will definitely need supplemental lamps. I think most folks have recessed lights, etc. these days so probably not a problem for most.
