I love the style of this fan and we have had it on our porch for about a year now and it still works great. I can be windy here, so it has been able to handle the heavy winds.

I've got this fan in my screened porch with a 14' ceiling. It's on a 4' rod and neither I nor 2 electricians could get it to work without a wobble at medium and high speeds. But it looks great...
Very nice fan for my deck.

The fan is intalled on a second story deck. It was a bit difficult to install, meaning the instructions were somewhat confusing and a lot of parts. But, once installed, the fan is great. I wish there was a way to dim the lights.
plastic housing looks and feels inferior

No wall switch or remote to control the on and off of both the light and fan. Plastic housing for light looks and feels inferior for value. Since the light housing is not covered, bugs and spiders collect up inside the opening where the light bulb is contained if used on the porch.

We built a sunroom - so our fan makes the room cooler in the summer. We also have a wood stove in the corner and now that it's getting to be a bit colder here in the Northwest, we have used it to circulate the heat generated from the wood stove. It works REALLY well. We love it, and love the way it works. We only said one bad word while hanging it up too!!

Adds nice look to outdoor space. Friends are always surprised to see them outside. They provide nice soft light as well as airflow.

I have two of these fans on my back porch. They look good and provide lots of light. The downside to the design of the light fixture however, is the open bottom. With no shade over the bulbs, the light directly under the fixture is a bit harsh with two bulbs.
great looking, but that's it.
