Lovely item. The light fixture is not the exact same color as the lamp. Once together and up on the ceiling you cant tell.
Be prepared to spend 2 hours putting this item together.
Suggest you put a ceiling medalion with the fan. It completes the look.

I had the light kit from this system in a former home so this round I bought the whole package---OMG even though hubby has installed more than a dozen ceiling fans--many with remotes---this one is a bear to install and we finally called a pro from the local electric and lighting store---even he had some issues---it is lovely, great functions, but WOW not for the novice or even the very handy to install---save the headache and call a pro---

We absolutely love this fan for our little girl's room, but after 1 contractor and two electricians, the fan is still not installed. There always seem to be missing hardware, wrong extension rod, missing pieces? Lamps plus is very nice and accomidating and try to fix the problem, but I have replaced 10 fans in my house and I have never had as many problems installing a fan as this one. Just make sure you know what you are getting into...not for the casual fan installer, LOL.

We have purchased two of these fans and love them. We have one in our teen daughter's room and one in our baby girl's nursery. We constantly receive compliments on the look of this fan. It is beautiful and well worth the money. There is nothing else like it on the market. The install was slightly more difficult than other standard fans we have installed.

I absolutely fell in love with this fan when I first saw it and after my handy man of a husband installed it. My husband is pretty crafty and can install just about anything. The installation was not difficult just time consuming in part due to the chandelier components. The crystals appear a little cheap looking up close but on the ceiling you see the crystals but they look great. I love it. I may just add some pink crystals to give it the wow factor.

I wanted this fan in black, so I purchased it in cream and spray painted it black. It took some time to get all the beads off, but it was well worth it. It is somewhat difficult to install, and requires two people. I love the functionality of the fan and the elegance of the chandelier. I would definitely recommend this fan to anyone.
To change the color, you need to first remove the beads from the chandelier with wire cutters. The beads are strung on individual wires and attached with smaller wires along the chandelier. By cutting the smaller wires, you can remove them, keeping the string of beads intact. I covered the crystal glass with ziploc bags and painters tape and also masked off all the wires with painters tape. I would recommend purchasing a spray paint and a brushable paint that you can purchase from the same maker and color for touchups. To reattach the beads, just reattach them like they came off, with thin wire and twist.

This fan/light combo is just beautiful. I got this for my 6 year old little girls room. The fan is so funtional during the hot summers and the beautiful light is great year round. I would recommend getting the remote. I use the dimmer as a night light. The quality is superb. I had it professionally installed because I was concerned about the weight doing it myself. The glass parts are a little hard to clean but that is a small trade off. It brought new life to the room and it is something that she can grow with.

It is so difficult to find a ceiling fan which works well and is also beautiful, but this fan is the total package! I replaced an outdated brass/oak ceiling fan on a vaulted ceiling with this one, and I couldn't be happier. The chandelier light kit looks fabulous in my living room and adds an elegant touch, but it isn't just about appearance. This fan is SUPER quiet, and it doesn't wobble one bit. Even when it is on high, the lovely crystals hanging on the light kit barely move. The quality is impeccable! The only con is that the lovely crystal chandelier light will be hard to clean, but I can live with that. I wish it came in other colors besides white because I would buy a second one to replace the wobbly fan in my master bedroom. I would love to have one in black!
I paid an electrician to install this fan due to the ceiling height, but he said the install was very simple. He was finished in about 45 minutes, and he said he was very impressed with the quality of the fan.
Given all of those things, this fan is a STEAL at the price it is offered. I've paid almost twice as much for other fans at other retailers, and they did not even come close to this one.

DID NOT NEED to buy extra hand remote/wall remote as suggested. Our wall had two switches, one for light and one for fan. NOTHING extra needed. Fan works great! Lots of breeze. Light is super for room (daugher's room). ***One thing bothered me is that the chandelier light kit did not match the fan color 100%. Fan is CREAM (loved it)...light kit was more greenish tint/darker cream. I actually painted the light kit to mach the fan better (easy to do just for the money thought they should match 100%). Husband installed in 2 hours (experince in past). Overall happy just wish the light kit matched the COLOR of the cream fan better but again, easy enough to paint it (only need to paint it enough to cover most of the light kit--didnt need to be perfect since the color was only slightly off). But, perfection is my taste. Looked GREAT. Also add a "16 ceiling medallion(painted cream to mach) which REALLY REALLY added to the fan's look. It is a MUST. Used same paint that used on the light kit. PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Combines the practicality of a ceiling fan with a lovely chandelier. I've had it 2 years now and looked a long time to find this combo for my daughter's room. She loves it, my only complaint is that back then description failed to mention there was no separate control for the light, but a wall mounted spliter took care of that.[...]

We installed this fan and light kit in my daughter's room. She has 10 ft ceilings and it is perfect for that height of a ceiling and for a feminine look. Everyone who sees it ooos and ahs. I would definitely plan on a prof installer and make sure that your ceilings are at least 10 ft in an average size room and 9ft in a larger room. Other than that the fixture is stunning. If we move, and the room is right, I would buy it again.
