Too complicated to install ourselves. The professional recommended by Lamps Plus on 88th was very good. We are very concerned about the
remote and light in particular. It often does not work without repressing the remote even a couple times or more. It could be faulty, and the installer
so noted.

I was looking for a completely white fan that would not visually take over the room. It has only a 6 inch drop down, so it virtually disappears. Also, the single, sleek, light is not a "bug catcher" as it is sealed. The design pairs well with traditional or more modern decor.

We bought this fan as an alternative to the Casablanca Stealth that we had purchased for our last home at a significantly larger price tag. This lower priced fan looks great and works great too! We're very happy with the decision! With no pull chain hanging down and the light bulbs covered, it gives a similar sleek appearance. It has the same speed options and forward/reverse. I love the fan (as much as you can love a fan anyway), and I love that I saved just over $200 with this choice!!!

Overall, I love this fan. It's great looking and does the job. I put it in a large bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. It definitely makes the room cooler. The only problem's I had was the quality of the blades were poor. Some of the blades had chips and cracks. One blade was coming de-laminated at the side. Some of the paint was sort of mottled. I returned the blades at Lamps Plus and they gave me a new pack. They were better but still had imperfections. The other con is that the fan wobbles a little on high. My contractor is really good at balancing and couldn't get this fan balanced perfectly.

Using 60 Watts bulbs was not bright enough, I increased to 75 watts to get the brightness I needed. I couldn't remove the globe to change the bulbs, so I had to break the globe to change the bulbs. Lamps Plus was good enough to give me a replacement globe. I recommend you add vasoline to treads of the globe, it will make it easier to replace bulbs in the future. After overcoming these problems, I love this fan.

I bought two of these fans for my upstairs bedrooms to replace my 1980's floral globed fans. The white fans against my new popcorn-free ceilings look perfect. This fan is so stylish and modern, I love it! I updated the fans in 2 bedrooms and replaced 1980's fans for a sleek casual look. The included remote is a big bonus and now if I get cold in the middle of the night, I don't have to get up and pull the chain or pull the covers over my head! The light is bright and perfect , especially for an overhead light. The light cover is unique because there are no screws, the cover basically unscrews from the base making it easy to handle. I love everything about this ceiling fan!

This will help us save a lot on A/C bills. It's so wonderful above our bed - it helps us get a good night's sleep! The remote is fabulous. There is no noise at all when it's on low and medium, and it's just barely audible on high speed, which we rarely use. We wish we had purchased this a long time ago!

This fan looks MUCH better in person than it does in the online photos. I have used this fan in the master bedroom for several months and we like it a lot. I have to have an electrician install these for us because we are older and unable to reach up to install a ceiling fan. It's worth it to us, even with the additional cost. We agree with previous reviews, this fan does NOT give enough light. I don't like halogen lights or chandelier lights, because older eyes need good, bright light. We use dimmer switches on all of our lights, so these nice, new fans should have this option available, too. This fan is ultra quiet and we love it. It's one of the best investments we've made in our house, and we're looking forward to adding three more of them as soon as we can get [...] the electrician out here.

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I really like the clean, chic and crip this gives to a room that is modern AND has white trim; at the same time, the same comment I have about the other fans applies here.
There is far too little light cast for its size; the older style ones shed far MORE light. It CANNOT be relied on to be the sole or MAIN light source in the the room!
As for the controls, there are confusing to operate. The on/off is clear. It is HARD to turn on light without fan, AND ALL THREE FANS I bought for one home, ALL operate differently.
Even the Contractor compalined to me that although 'spiffy' one would need an engineering degree...which is a disappointment to all.
Auxiliary lighting is needed for any room with this (or these), as with all three of the fans on which I am commented.
How one changes the lights?...I have no clue!
I WOULD, WITH appropriate RESERVATIONS,recommend this to a friend.

I installed this fan in my bedroom and since I did not want it to pop out too much I picked a white fan. It blends into the ceiling but works really well and its very silent. The light bulb is hard to change and is expensive too. But I do not need to use any other lights in the room most of the time. Clunky remote though. Does not match the sleek fan. Try not to lose the remote, a replacement is rather expensive,25% of the cost of the fan!
