The fan appears to be a darker wood in photos than is in the box. We have very dark floors and the wood on this was way too light to match. Prepare for a lightish-medium wood color.
This is a beautiful fan. The coloring of the wood blades is true to the picture. It's quiet to operate. Very sleek design. It hugs the ceiling so we don't have to worry about it being in the way of my husband's tall height. We are avid do-it-yourself people, but we're super busy right now so we hired the install out with a bunch of other work we were having done. The electrician didn't have any problems however. We have it hardwired to our light switch (remote controls are annoying).Images/Videos shared by: San Jose Family
