The traditional Casa Vieja ceiling fan is nicely finished in antique brass with 5 coordinating flat finish walnut blades. It features a 52" blade span, 16° blade pitch, 3-speed pull chain, and a lifetime motor warranty. Light kit takes 4-60 watt bulbs (not included) and glass are optional and extra. Comes standard with 3" downrod.

I like the fan very much, however, since it is in my kitchen, I must turn it off when I cook on my gas stovetop because the lowest speed is too fast and affects the intensity of the flame. My previous fan, either a Casa Vieja or a Casablanca, was not a problem in that respect. ( The Hampton Bay fan I have is practically identical to my others; it works just as well--why the difference in price? ) Installation was fast and efficient, though I thought the installers would take my old fan--not a "biggy". I like the fan. Though I haven't abided by the rules below, I just wanted you to know about the low speed problem.
