Nice, contemporary looking fan. Husband and I installed pretty quickly together but he's very handy at just about everything. LOVE having the optional remote control (definitely recommend adding that option) as we enstalled it in the bedroom so that makes it super convenient to turn off the light (or fan) after getting in bed. The light is bright enough when turned up to do most anything but a separate reading light would be necessary for most people. The dimming capability and multi-level fan speeds are both nice. This is a quiet fan which is important especially in a bedroom. It did not require any balancing - no wobbling at all, but there are instructions and balancing kit included, if needed. Great fan and light - we are very pleased.

This was a replacement fan for the master bedroom and it looks really nice as we have the room decorated in a fairly contemporary style. After some initial installation hiccups, we are very pleased with this fan.

I live in an area where the summer days generally exceed 110 degrees. This fan not only looks good but is whisper quiet while it diligently keeps the air circulating. With a 10 foot ceiling, we changed out the 4" pole in favor of a 12" pole. Too bad the installation holes were not already drilled into this length. It added to the difficulty in completing the installation. That being successfully accomplished, the fan works wonderfully.

I bought this unit to replace another fan that was having its remote receiver die. Like the last Casa Vieja fan I put up, it was pretty simple and straight forward. It went together well. Many have said this fan is a bit more difficult to put up; I found it to be very easy and straight forward, especially compared to the one I took down that in reality took 4 hands to put up (due to the hanging from the dome system). The only complaint, which is minor, is the instructions are not clear on which way the blade carriers are rotated to fit the motor housing. It took about 15 seconds to figure it out. Also, like the last Casa Vieja I put up, the blade balancing kit is completely unnecessary; it was perfectly balanced as assembled on all speeds and in both directions. It circulates air well and is quiet. Thanks.
