Attractive fan looks nice in the Living room. It was difficult to install the blades and I thought they could have been made of better material. It wobbles at high speed but I only use it on low so it doesn't bother me.
Quiet, great fan
The product fits our modern home. The simplicity of the design make it very appealing to my taste. The product was very easy to install. The remote control was very useful. The fan speed is adjustable. And the lighting was bright.
I just completed repainting my bedroom and needed a new fan. The fan that was there wasn't fitting with the style at all, so I needed a replacement that not only looked better, but actually worked. I was looking around at a variety of sites and decided to go to a local store to check one I had found. When I got to the store, the one I looked at wasn't there. The store staff directed me to this one instead, and I'm glad I listened. The room is about 10'x12'. The fan circulates air easily on low speed, which is something my old fan could never do. The 20 degree blade pitch is a huge plus and is one that should be advertised more openly. Installation was not too difficult, but like any ceiling fan or light, a second person is always a great help. The instructions are clear and well laid out. To my surprise, the box contained everything required for installation, including screws, wire nuts, and the like. Since I had the room, I used both mounting holes/slots on the fan bracket to attach it to the ceiling. That gave some extra strength. Be sure to read the instructions so you don't forget to put any parts on before you mount the fan. My only installation issue is the remote module. The device is rather large. It nests between the ceiling and the ball which is the top of the downrod. It's a little more snug that I'd like, but it also doesn't move. The wires which go from there to the fan motor are color coded for easy installation. They are very long, so you will need to trim and strip the wires. The fan assembly hangs very easily in the bracket, which allows you to make all the wiring connections after the fan is mounted, so you don't have to hold it while making the connections. There is a defined notch which allows you to index and position the fan properly so it doesn't wobble. The canopy that covers the connections and remote module is a bit small in volume. That, combined with my shallow fan box, made for a tricky installation. It helped to have someone hold the canopy in place which another person attached the mounting screws. The blades are securely connected. The mounting is flush and clean. Mounting the blades after motor installation is a double-edged sword because the screw holes are difficult to see, especially with the fan mounted near the ceiling. However, leaving the blades off made for an easier motor mount. You'll have to decide for yourself based on your needs. The lights are easy to install and provide good light. That is perhaps my only other complaint is the lights could be brighter. However, brightness can depend on the room color, so you'll have to judge that for yourself. The assembled fan looks fantastic and functions very well. The remote is a wonderful feature. The dimming ability is great. That requires you to press and hold the light switch. This takes some practice to do correctly (it's not quite as easy as it sounds). In terms of engineering and manufacturing, this fan is great. The material and sur
