Customers most agreed on the following attributes:
This fan gives out alot more light than most. The downside is the air flow is not that great. I put one in my bedroom and one in dining room. I wanted brighter lights and so had to compromise with less air flow. I don't like air blowing on me while eating, as it cools off the food, so this fan works good for that. In the bedroom, I use 2nd speed for sleeping. Low is too low. I can hardly feel the air flow. The fan is very quiet even on high. If you want light I recommend this fan. If you want lots of air flow buy a different fan. There is a notice in the fan that some Federal law only allows ceiling fans to have 190 watts. The lights take up 180 watts, only leaving 10 for the motor. I guess that is why most fans have weak lighting. I did not install myself. The two installers from Lamps Plus removed two old fans and installed two new fans in less than an hour.
