Ceiling fan operation with remote and wall switch is the way to go. But light bulb went in less than 14 months and is a real pain to get and replace.
The remote control for the fan and the light are the best. It is very quiet and it looks great. It is also close to the ceiling so it can be installed on 8fl ceilings without a problem. However, changing the light bulb almost requires an electrician.
