Somewhat funky finish

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The aluminum finish looks a bit odd (an almost faint blue hue that doesn't blend all that well with the blade color). Additionally, the canopy piece looks kinda cheap. I probably should've gone with a nickel finish for my particular space. But after paying for the install, I didn't really want to shop again, and pay again to have it removed and another installed! The fan is overall OK (not awesome), just not quite as aesthetically pleasing for me as I expected the minka brand to be. I've had several other minka fans that looked of better quality. This was purchased for my bedroom and I wanted a fan (modern, but not overly so) without a strong presence-on that front, the fan is great.
