This looks like a $500 fan. The glass casts an elegant, romantic light. I've installed at least a half dozen ceiling fans by myself. This one's tough to do without an extra set of hands. The collar is surprisingly heavy---but beautiful and adds to it's "rich" appearance--it was helpful to have someone hold the collar in place while I screwed it into place. The blades took some patience to get screwed into the motor. Access to the holes was limited so it was hard to see in order to line up the holes. Fantastic result and well worth the effort.
