Included is a full-functioning hand-held remote control. Ideal for low-ceiling applications. Light kit is integrated, however a cap is also included for those not needing a light. This light/fan installed very easily. Took less than 1/2 hour. Whisper quiet on speeds 1 & 2; you hear the blades on speed 3, but I do not imagine we will use that speed much in our bedroom. Happy with our purchase.
