This 52" Trident ceiling fan from Casablanca comes in a pristine snow white finish with three reversible snow white/maple finish blades. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought 5 of these fans because they had a good "total cost of ownership" profile (cost/quality of the fan + cost of running it) and they moved a lot of air for the money. (See the specs) We didn't put air conditioning in our Lake Superior shore home, but know that a good breeze will cool things down in the summer and move radiant heat the rest of the year. Unfortunately, the remote control that comes with this fan only allows 4 channels and not the 5 we needed, so our electrican had to manually wire these to the house. We had one with a bad motor that made noise once it was on for 10 minutes. I am returning that and getting a new fan. I must say that these are a good buy, and very energy intelligent. They are a clean and simple look.
