Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We love this fan. We installed it in our master bedroom and it does a great job of circulating the air in such a large room. The only con I have is that it is a bit wobbly at times, but I think we need to make an adjustment to it as we installed the fan ourselves. A great product overall and I definitely recommend it!
