60" Landan by Fanimation breaks new ground by making saving energy look stylish. The five reversible blades in cherry/maple paired with the satin nickel high efficiency DC motor on the decoratively fluted motor housing will enhance transitional decor. The frosted light kit has high quality LED light, housed with light and color quality and last for far longer then regular incandescent bulb. (UM)

Not great at all

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very disappointed in this fan. For nearly $700, I expected this fan to be the greatest. It doesn't respond well to the remote. The dimmer flickers (like a bad CFL tube) on both the up and down lights. Anything below 90% will flicker. Not to mention the dimmer jumps from about 30% to zero. For a 60in fan, it has weak airflow. Too bad because it's such a good looking fan. Guess LED technology hasn't made it to the ceiling fan industry yet.
