this fan reminds me of the 1940's. nostalgic. but SO beautiful. on HIGH, it will blow you out of the room. MEDIUM works just fine for air flow. I bought this because of the CFM's cuz my A/C has been out. it moves the air !! metal blades. so just a soft damp cloth to clean. It comes with the Edison bulb. replacements are $39. the light is a bit dim. i'm ok with that though. at first, it sounded like a prop plane starting itz engines, however, after running the obligatory first 24 hours, it is now SO quiet !! be careful though and don't stretch, take your shirt off, or reach up under this fan. it will tear a limb off. as stated, it is recommended to be installed at 10 ft. I am very pleased with my purchase.
this kind of reminds me of a barracks style fan LOL but itz OH So Beautiful !! the blades are metal so be careful !! don't stretch or take your shirt off under it (even at 10 ft) or you'll cut your hand off. this fan Moves Air !! I do not keep it on High. itz too much !! but I did when my A/C was out. it sounded bit like an aircraft taking off the first day. but it specifically says to run it for 24 hrs at first. and that is true. but for me, I need a little hum to sleep to.
