Great lamp for reading. Like that it has dimmer and that it can be put between two chairs so both can benefit. Does not take up much floor space.

The long flexible necks allow you to direct the light where you want. The dual dimmer controls are easy to reach. The design works with both traditional and contemporary design. It's a good product

This lamp works great in our dark living room. It's the perfect reading/working on your laptop lamp. The dual arms and controls are perfect for each user to adjust it to fit their needs.

I was looking for a desktop lamp when I suddemly stumbled upon this one. The two gosseneck arms w/ halogen lighting were much better than what I've originally been looking for.
The assembly was easy and done within minutes. As expected, the lamp(s) turned out to be the perfect illumination for my office desk. Since he lamp stands beside my desk, it doesn't take up any space on my desk.

Thought we had found the perfect floor lamp, with adjustable duo headlamps and dimmer. And it was perfect, until the bulb burnt out after 1 and 1/2 years later. We tried to unscrew the screws that held the metal plate that held the protective glass in place. Well, one lost its thread and kept spinning, and the other lost the nut that held it in place. Finally, the glass came loose and fell out. Well, we couldn't put Humpty together again, so into the garbage it went. Worst yet, I'm missing a perfect reading lamp for two and now have new bulbs that can't be used. Think twice before you buy it.

The lamp has been fine for me for a couple of years. I enjoyed the 2 dimmer switches and being able to direct the light. But now one of the bulbs has burnt out and I believe I will not be able to replace it without significant use of electrical tape.
I could not pry the glass cover off the face of the lamp so I thought that I must be supposed to remove the screws. It turns out they have nuts behind the metal faceplate that they screw into, so loosening them basically loosens them permanently. Well one of them popped out and the nut disappeared and then the glass and the metal spring fell right out. Now the bulb socket is accessible but if you try to plug the bulb in, the socket part gets pushed and bent out of the way (as another reviewer noted; though this may be because I had loosened the 2 screws that turned out to be holding the socket in place as well as affixing the metal plate to the glass shield). I persisted at this for some time and finally the bulb broke in my hand!
At this point I just thought I should try to determine intellectually whether it would ever have been possible to change the lightbulb. I took the whole metal faceplate off (by wedging a little pair of pliers inside to hold the nuts while I unscrewed the screws) and then stared at the thing for about half an hour. Perhaps if I'd managed to pry out the glass without loosening any screws. But could it really be pried out without the metal spring popping out as well? The metal spring is extremely difficult to handle. I can jam it back in but once it's in I can't get the glass in.
I guess maybe I should have known not to loosen any screws. But you don't expect doing so to be irreversible, do you? I really went online just to see if anyone is reporting it to be possible to change the bulb in this lamp. So far I haven't found such reports! I cannot recommend this lamp.

I like the lamp but I had my brother bring a saw over and cut off the little steel arms that stick out next to the lamp...really dangerous if you just happen to be under this lamp..it's the first thing that will stab your head...anyway they're gone and NOW the lamp is perfect for me

For the price, this is an excellent lamp. A bit too short for tall chairs, but excellent for reading and used as a work light. The goose necks allow lamps to be bent in a number of positions. High intensity bulbs give off some heat, but lucite cover protects bulbs and helps to discipate heat. Unfortunately, same lucite cover makes extra work when changing bulbs. Black color goes with many decors.

Unlike most floor lamps, this has a seperate on/off dimmer knob for BOTH lamps. Also each arm has two goose necks(bendable areas), one at the top and one at the bottom of EACH arm, making this floor lamp one of the most versitle I've every seen, and I did a lot of looking both on-line and off! Even though I like the look, it's a shame there are not more styles/colors with the same features.

I love that the light can be directed for task or used as spotlight. The base, however needs to be heavier. When both lights are directed in the same area the lamp tilts to one side.

I've had this lamp for two years and I'm having to throw it out. One of the bulbs burnt out, and replacing it was a disaster. After a challenging time getting the spring off that holds the glass plate in place, it was impossible to insert the new bulb into the bulb socket. The holes in the socket did not line up well with the bulb prongs. After unsuccessfully trying to push the bulb into the socket, the socket is now pushed back into the lamp and is inaccessible because the large plate covering the lamp is screwed on too tightly. I'm so fed up with this lamp. Too much time, too much aggravation. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone. Waste of money.
