This item is very bold- feels like iron, told it was cast aluimiun & to spray with clear matte gloss- i live at the shore. ISSUE THE BACKER FOR THE WALL IS HUGE & IF YOU HAVE SIDING YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN. NO CLUE HOW YET!! Siding blocks are max 11-15 inches long this is 22 1/2- 27 1/2 depening on the size you bought- I would stick with the other timberline large outdooe light line- it has a much smaller base length- this would not be an issue if you have a brick home

By wife fell in love with this outdoor wall light. Glad we got the 21 inch instead of larger one. Also, with 3 13 watt energy saver lights there' plenty of light on the driveway. Only con is that now my wife wants one on the right side of the garage too, so I'll need to cut a whole in the brick wall somehow before wiring it!

Ordered 10 different Casa Marsielle wall mounts for new house, Italiante style house. They look great with house[...]The only problem was we had to make and paint all 10 wall mounts, since they dont come that big. But they look great.
