I purchased this light fixture when I redid my upper and lower halls in my Victorian home. We restored the old wood moldings and hardware and the work on this fixture blended in beautifully. I looked at many other fixtures and found some to be too ornate for my taste and the prices were very high. The design of this light fit right into my plans and it also gives off a nice amount of light. For the price this was the perfect selection. I prefer a lower wattage bulb for a hallway but if you want to brighten an area this will work great too.

We are using it in our dining room. The wattage is high but not glaring like our old lighting.

Was a tad more difficult to hang than your average light. Needed a second set of hands to hold it.
