I love this lamp, but I wish it had a different color shade, it is a very bright white. Easy to use and looks great anywhere, living room, bedroom, den, etc.

This lamp is in my living room. It has a contemporary design yet looks great next to my mid-century mod couch. I also like how the clear glass takes up less space visually. I might add something to the plain white shade as it is a little too simple. I have owned this lamp for over 6 months and it has not given me any problems.

I have purchased and hunted for lamps to display seashells for years.
This is by far the best looking lamp and so easy to fill with shells. The cord slides out easily to allow the top to come off. The cord is long enough as well. Perfect for reading your favorite book. Great illumination.
I filled mine with all white shells. It looks like a designer lamp!! Just beware it takes a LOT of shells but then I have a lot.
Great excuse to pick up more...

I've had alot of fun with this lamp. I bought it with our game room in mind. I planned to fill it with odds and ends from board games and discarded toys. It never made it downstairs. I temporarily placed it in my entry and filled it with glass Christmas balls. At Easter a stuffed rabbit was "captured" inside. I'm now brainstorming for the Fourth of July and of course I still need to get another one for my game room.

This lamp is fantastic. Sleek and modern design. I filled mine with seashells and it makes a striking statement. Not your typical old fashioned shell lamp! I have two and purchased two for my mom. Fits in with any decor.

The clear glass base vastly diminishes the visual footprint of what would otherwise be a very large lamp. The base could be filled with shells or colorful stones for a very personal touch. The LampsPlus price was 1/3 of the second-best price I could find!!

I filled my lamp with marbles and found it hard to do. Yikes. I was afraid I was going to break the glass cylinder. However, maybe it is not intended to be filled with marbles :) It was hard to align the metal pole that threads through the center of the lamp once I had filled the glass cylinder. It looks great now however...

Great for display of collected items. Just what I was looking for. SInce I use by the bed, I would prefer the on/off switch at the base of the lamp so it is easier to reach. It also seems that with such a generic style a lower price version might be feasible. I used with my own shade.
