I hung this above my bathtub. I love that it looks like a piece of jewelry in my bathroom. I questioned myself whether I could have purchased a larger one.

I bought this to go in a small breakfast nook in the kitchen and it is very cute with that "shabby chic" appeal to it. I have received so many complements on it! It gives off 160 watts max, which is great light.
It is a little overpriced for the construction quality and size. You are probably paying for the look rather than the materials. The item description reads that it has "crystal accents" and it has those, but they are bagged separately from the chandelier and include 12 bead strands and pendants that you must hang yourself. The bead and flower accents already attached to the chandelier are actually plastic, which was disappointing and a little misleading from the item description. Attaching the separate crystal accents was a little tricky, because it is not very obvious where to hang the accents, and instructions were not included on where to hang them, only a picture that is very hard to interpret. I ended up going back to this website and zooming in on the color picture to figure out how to hang them. Once you see the color picture, it's not hard to figure it out.
As far as hanging it, we just had trouble getting the grounding wire up into the base that attaches to the ceiling because the hole was too small, so we ended up having to ground it on the outside where the metal chain is, which is unattractive.
I was also disappointed that the parts do not come off for washing, so I am not sure how I'll clean it when it gets dirty. The parts also seem a little fragile. If I ever have to move, it will probably be difficult to transport it without some of the parts breaking off.
I would recommend this to a friend, but only if you can't find anything else with this shabby chic look that is a little more user-friendly and sturdy. You may be better off if you are lucky enough to find a good deal on one in an antique store that just needs rewiring.
