We bought two of these lights to use in our bathroom next to our mirrors, and we found that they work perfectly for vanity lighting. So, what attracted us to these lights? They are both stylish (clean, sleek lines) and compact (they fit well in a corner) so they don't overwhelm a small space like a bathroom. In fact, we'd replaced a pair of "classic" vanity bar lights with these lights because they seemed to invade the space rather than enhancing it. Lastly, we must admit that we were stunned (in a good way!) by the top-notch quality of these lights given that they were quite inexpensive - just icing on the cake - and who doesn't like cake?

I used two of these vertical lamps on either side of mirror with matching horizontal lamp above mirror. All 3 make decent lighting as a group and for facial illumination. I don't recommend it as stand-alone lighting for medium-size room.

The lamp is narrower than the box I installed in the wall which resulted in additional finish (cosmetic) work I did not expect. See if you can find a box that conforms to the width of the lamp.

We installed these in our bathroom as the primary light source on a mirrored wall. The fixtures provide a clean, white light without giving off heat. Fantastic design that's sleek and elegant!

What attracted me to this lamp was the cool overall design. Too many lamps look like a pathetic rehash of the Elizabethan period. This lamp looks like it belongs in the 21st century
