Beautiful well made and par for course on all George Kovacks products. The shade is on the wider side so for large scale rooms it is a dream. Soft diffused light.

I have 2 in my dining room and they are gorgeous. The black shades cast a great light. The shades are difficult to attach to the base, but I eventually got them attached.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We needed a light over a small dining table, and this suited the area perfectly. Great proportions. We added a dimmer wall switch so that the lighting can be adjusted. Everyone who enters our home comments how attractive and unusual it is. Note, however, that the bright silver finish does show fingerprints but since the light is controlled by the wall switch, it isn't a problem.
