I use the product as overhead light to read sheet music so I can play my recently purchased organ. The lamp gives terrific lighting and is easy to reach to turn off and on. Also the lamp is easy to adjust and will stay in place the way you set it. There is nothing that I dislike about it and based on other organ lamps that I looked at, the price of my House of Troy lamp is insignificant.

We use this lamp for lighting piano music. It provides sufficient light for reading, although there is some additonal lighting in the room. Uses 2 40W bulbs.

I use this light to sit on top of my piano. It is difficult to have good light over music with a regular light. The design of this lamp allows you to adjust it right where you need the light, usually over the keyboard and music. There are no overhead lights in the room, so this one puts out a majority of light I need. I like the switch located on the cord. I like the anitque looking finish of the lamp also.
