I've tried out a few office lights, this is the best one so far. White light is soft yet bright enough for task lighting and reading, very easy on the eyes. Design is stylish. Only dislike is the lighting area is a bit limited, I wish it lights a bigger area.

The night light is a real bonus. The lamp was a gift for my Mom. She recently moved to a retirement apartment facility that has very limited space. We put her work desk in the bedroom so the night light was a perfect accessory. The illumination is incredible, very bright.

I bought this for my husband whose office is inside the office building, without access to a window and natural light. The biggest pro for the product is the fact that it does not get hot so if you want to reach and adjust the head and get the light projected elsewhere it's very easy and comfortable. I was told that the LED illuminators will not need replacement (might last 30 years) which is also a plus. The lamp is definitely a desk-top amenity and it is best described as "task light," i.e., its cone of light only shines on a small area, unlike some of the "shaded" lamps that provide a general "ambiance" for the whole desk. I personally think it is insufficient for my husband's little office room (despite his claims that two LED monitors supplement the lamp), but I would still want to have one myself (it is lightweight and it doesn't get warm, the illuminator is easily adjusted and the cord is long enough to reach a reasonable distance). It would be great to find a floor lamp to complement this design. The price is also a pro (I was in shock of lamp prices when shopping over Christmas).
