This is a beautiful piece, although it is larger than I really needed to hang in the condo dining room. [...]this fixture was rather large. It took me about 2 hours to hang the crystal pieces over the cross. They are not attached to it, and this worries me a bit that it is not very sturdy. One of the crystal designs does not hold in the middle of the wire which makes it uneven and hard to hang. Other than that, it is beautiful. Advice: hang the crystals in gloves to avoid spots. Makes it easier to clean. My place looks like a miniature Kennedy Center now.

I purchased this chandelier for my bedroom. It was delivered quickly and properly packaged so everything was intact. I had an electrician install it, as I have no experience with electrical work, but I believe it could be installed without a professional. The chandelier gives off plenty of light, hence, a dimmer is a good idea so you can adjust the light according to your mood. The other interesting and fabulous surprise is that it comes with four complete sets of different crystals, so if you have complete control of what your chandelier looks like. You can use all the crystals, mix and match different crystals, or pick your favorite and only use one set; knowing you can change the set of crystals at a later time for a fresh look. There are no cons in my opinion, but it is important to keep the crystals that you are not using neatly separated or they will become a tangled mess :). If you are looking for that one piece of "bling" in your room, then this should be a strong consideration....it is modern enough to fit in a contemporary space and give it that touch of glamour that many contemporary spaces lack. Yes, you may think it is a little pricey at first, but when you see the quality of the construction and the four complete sets of crystals, and realize the diversity of the piece, you will know it was worth the money.
