The brushed steel finish began peeling w/in the first year. Made it feel like a cheap product and looks terrible now as part of the fixture is the original steel finish and part is the base yellow/gold color underneath. Will have to go and repaint it myself. Thought the product was higher quality than it is. Bottom line - nice looking product w/ IKEA-type quality.

We like this lamp for our 6 foot wide vanity. It gives ample light and I like being able to direct the light. We did put a dimmer switch on it and one of the light bulbs that came with the lamp will not dim. We'll have to go back in for a replacement. Overall, happy.
