Although this lamp is sold as a chandelier, we used it between two chairs over a round table and it looks great. The light it gives off is just enough for TV viewing or reading. Everyone comments on it when they enter the room, how attractive it is, where can they find one.

I'm always looking for something a bit on the unusual style - I found it here! The picture does not do this lighting fixture justice.
It is bold, textured, and gorgeous...I'd say it has a somewhat understated elegance because it doesn't "shout" at you...my husband is just as impressed as I am.
This fixture could easily be used in an Asian, rustic or contemporary setting.

This light has the popular drum style with the crazy weave that is organic and stylish. Simple lines rarely go out of style. I wouldn't recommend this, however, I bought this on clearance, but the wood was a little too light to match my furniture....so I used a small sponge brush and stained it darker.
I was careful not to touch the interior lining, but the weave is so tight it was not a problem. Everyone is amazed at how "closely it matches" my dining set!
