Excellent product. As with the other OTT-LITE products I have, it is worth the price, has a stable base, and gives off a great amount of light and is energy saving too!

It has nice contemporary flair, so a good "transitional" - decor type piece. I bought it as a piano lamp to sit on top of an older piano, but wanted something a little more updated than the traditional brass piano lamps. It's perfect for what I was looking for and very sturdy.

This light works perfectly on our piano. It is stable and very easy to turn on with the switch on the base. It has a solid base and is very stable.

My husband uses it at his desk in our home office. It gives off great light even though we have a ceiling light, my husband says that the ott light on his desk is very efficient without a ceiling light. The ott desk lamp is very attractive and it is even a masculine look. My husband is enjoying its' use. However, the cord is about a foot and a half shorter than we would like. The cord from my husband's desk to the outlet stretch is a little unsafe. Someone could pass the side of his desk and possible take the cord and lamp with them. The option would be to use an extention cord but that would leave a lot of extra cord on the floor. Perhaps a rearrangement of his office is possible. I'll have to ponder this.
