I was looking for something bright to light up a decent sized bedroom. This light is nice and bright. I would have preferred a black iron look rather than the brown, but it still looks good. I plan to put a dimmer on the switch for those times that a softer light is needed.

I have two small landings which have been hard to illuminate. The item choosen is perfect! It adds light, design and beauty to a previously neutral space.
Used in home office and hallway. Fits the Mission/Craftsman style of our home. It replaced "contractor specials" fixtures installed when the house was built in 1997. My husband said it was difficult to mount it to the support bracket. He had to fashion a metal probe to guide the holes to the screws.
A really great looking lamp. Everyone that sees it loves it. It took a bit a doing to install it but in the end, my husband figured it out.

In the foyer this is the first thing that people see, if they look up. This light adds elegance and is the first impression about my home.
Will require some patience to align mounting studs. Would suggest fabricating "S" hook from piece of coathanger to support fixture while making wire connections. Might want to cover area around outlet box with "Press-N-Seal" during install to protect ceiling finish-pull off just before final tightening of those round nuts. (3) 25 watt lamps sufficient for hallway apps.

Nice fixture for kitchen bedroom or hallway. Insulation makes attaching fixture difficult. Would recommend this to a friend
We installed this light in our front door entry. It has four bulbs so the light works well. I like the light but I'm not in love with it.
This is a very nice fixture for a rustic situation. I returned it though because it has very heavy, solid appearance that was too strong for the smallish bedroom I had selected it for. Very nice though for the right situation.
items in the same viewing area do not overpower each other.
I had purchased one for our entry foyer last year and received great compliments from friends, who noticed that we had replaced our old fixture. Our hallway to the bedroom wing still has a fixture my husband picked up at [...] & installed himself some years ago, so I ordered another one so that the ceiling fixtures now match...looks great in both settings.
I love this light, in fact I ordered an additional one as well as the matching chandelier and flush wall mount. Very attractive design and not too elegant.
We installed this fixture in our new foyer. The quality is very good, the glass & the frame are heavy. It gives off nice light (we are using a dimmer)and the glass bowl is beautiful. It was a little difficult to put up. Partly because it's heavy and you have to line up the screws in the ceiling attachment with the framework & it's really hard to see where the holes are. Since it is a flushmount fixture, we had to be so careful not to mar up the newly painted ceiling while trying to find the holes. It took patience & a flashlight, but we got it! It looks great. We also purchased the California Mission pendant light for our dining area. The fixtures coordinate beautifully.
