I bought this as a gift for my 7 year old daughter. She has loved it to death (in about 6 months). It's probably not the best for someone her age - it is easily knocked over in her room. The bulb burned out rather quickly and I haven't been able to find a replacement in the stores around here. But when it's working, and upright, it is a lot of fun and well worth the money.
