Very good modern lamp

I installed two of these over a black wooden daybed from a Swedish retailer and it looks great in a modern bedroom. The lamp is very sturdy, and the arms are stiff, so they don't move around once they are positioned. The dimmer is fantastic. I used toggle bolts to fasten the mounting plate to the wall because the lamps are quite heavy. These lamps would definitely fall off if mounted just using screws and your teenager (or husband) yanked the swing arms around. I have a combination of wallboard and plaster and lath because it is a very old house. The light is great, and can be dimmed enough to use as a nightlight, which is what my teen does. Very classy and grown up looking.
