I use this over my round dining table in a small house (bungalow) with hardwood floors. I had it hung low enough with short bulbs that sit inside the glass covers so it doesn't shine in your eyes. It is very attractive and I've received a lot of compliments, including how well it matches the house style.

We needed something to go over our kitchen island and this is the perfect size for that. The only problem is that is appears one of the lights is a little bit crooked - it doesn't hang straight down like the other two and it is somewhat noticeable. But, it's not enough to make a huge difference.

I have this hanging in my Oriental-themed dining room. I have a dimmer on the light, and it is just gorgeous. The Scavo glass is opalescent and glows with a rich, creamy, amber-hued light.

area lighting in kitchen - not the highest lumins for 'work space' but adequate for my needs - looks great - not your run-of-the-mill look, but not fussy - good varigated color on the shades
